Slack

  • Connecting Slack no longer picks a channel. Each survey rule, threshold alert and scheduled report picks its own Channel, and a rule can Mention people or user groups.
  • Each response arrives as a card with buttons: Assign to me, Planned with a menu of more statuses, and Change type. A press acts in Usertick as the person who pressed it, and the card shows what changed. Most people’s Slack accounts link by email on their first press, and everyone else selects Link my account once.
  • With Day as one thread, the first response of the day starts a message, and the day’s later responses reply under it.
  • Threshold alerts post one message when a number like NPS crosses a line you set. Usertick checks every hour.
  • Scheduled reports can post to a Slack channel instead of email. Reports need the Business plan (the Pro plan and above since October 17, 2026).
  • Personal notifications: each member can get their own Usertick notifications as direct messages from the Usertick app, set under Settings → Preferences.
  • A response link pasted in Slack opens as a small preview card for people who can see the response in Usertick.
  • /usertick nps and /usertick search answer in Slack, visible only to you. The Usertick app’s Home tab shows your week.
  • Under Settings → Integrations → Slack, In Slack lists each feature with its state. A workspace connected before these features keeps posting, and needs one Reconnect for the rest.

Jira

  • Jira connects with OAuth only, and the API token form was removed.
  • Right after you connect, Choose what syncs with Jira lists every sync, each off until you select it. You can change them later under Two-way sync.
  • A rule checks the fields the issue type requires and shows Jira needs these fields. A survey does not publish while a required field is empty.
  • Match the AI urgency sets the issue’s priority from the AI’s reading of the response.
  • Group by AI theme: add to the open issue instead adds a response to the open issue about the same theme, as a comment with its files, instead of creating a new issue.
  • Two-way status: when a linked issue moves between To Do, In progress and Done, the response moves to the status you mapped. Comments, priority, assignee and issue type can come back too, and a response’s urgency and notes can go to the issue. Usertick never changes an issue’s status in Jira.
  • Rules can also set the assignee, components and labels, and attach the response’s files. Members who can manage surveys can create an issue by hand from a response, or one issue for up to 50 responses from the inbox.
Jira guide.

Linear

  • Linear connects with OAuth only and joins your workspace as an app. Issues and comments a rule creates show as Usertick, and the API key form was removed.
  • Two-way sync, chosen in Choose what syncs with Linear: when a linked issue moves, the response moves to the status you mapped for each kind of Linear status (New, In progress, Done and Canceled). Comments, priority, assignee and labels can come back too, and a response’s urgency and notes can go to the issue.
  • Customer requests: each response arrives on its issue as a Usertick response attachment and, when your workspace uses them, as a customer request. The customer is the company from the respondent’s work email. A response the AI judged High urgency marks the request important.
  • Rules can Match the AI urgency, group by AI theme and attach files. Members who can manage surveys can create an issue by hand from a response, or one issue for up to 50 responses from the inbox.

Tools with Zapier

  • Settings → Integrations has a With Zapier chip with 62 tools that Usertick doesn’t connect to natively, listed by category: CRM, support, product feedback, project management, messaging and email, marketing, docs and data, files and calendars, commerce and customer success.
  • Each tool’s panel says what a Zap can do with a response and whether the tool needs a paid Zapier plan. Create the Zap in Zapier opens Zapier in a new tab with the New Response trigger and the tool’s action already selected.
  • In the survey editor’s Integrations step, More tools with Zapier opens the list in a new tab.
  • In workflows. Each of the 62 tools is also a workflow step, under With Zapier in the step list. The workflow’s conditions, branches, waits and AI analysis decide which responses reach the tool, and a two-step Zap that starts from the Usertick trigger Workflow Step does the action, which Zapier’s free plan allows unless the tool is a premium app. The step’s panel opens the Zap in Zapier, and the workflow can be published once the Zap is on.

Record tools

  • Salesforce is no longer a native connector. It is in the catalog with Zapier, with its case, lead and note actions.
  • Zendesk, Mailchimp and Productboard connect with one click. Zendesk asks for your subdomain first, and only a Productboard workspace admin can approve Productboard. Their API key and token forms were removed.
  • Zendesk tickets get tags, with usertick and a tag for the survey by default, and values for your custom ticket fields.
  • Mailchimp rules select their audience. By default, a rule updates only people who are already contacts in the audience. Add new people as contacts adds the rest as transactional contacts, which count toward your Mailchimp bill. Rules can also write answers, the NPS, the score, the survey’s name and the response date to merge fields, and add the event usertick_survey_response.
  • Productboard notes get tags and link the respondent as the customer, creating the Productboard user when none exists.
  • BigQuery rows have 10 columns, so a table needs survey_name, variant and completed too. The connection panel lists every column with its type under Table columns. File uploads, screenshots and signatures are left out of answers.

Event tools

  • Safer tests. For Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, Intercom, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and BigQuery, a rule’s Test checks the connection and shows the exact request Usertick would send. Nothing is written in the tool. A sample response reaches no tool at all. Braze and Segment keys cannot be checked without sending data, so they show Not checked.
  • Who answered. Mixpanel, Amplitude and Segment get only responses with your user ID from identify(). Customer.io, Braze, Iterable and Intercom need the user ID or an email, and Klaviyo needs an email. The anonymous ID and the response ID never name a person. An email comes only from an email campaign, identify() or a Contact details question, never from another answer. A response without what the tool needs is skipped, with the reason in the rule’s activity.
  • Intercom and Klaviyo connect with one click. Intercom asks for your data center first, and pasted tokens are no longer used.
  • Zendesk adds the response as an internal note. Mailchimp never subscribes anyone: new members are transactional, and tags reach existing members too. BigQuery checks the table and its columns when you connect, and a test adds no row. Productboard never makes a second note when a send is retried.
  • LiveChat is removed.
Connector catalog.

Google Analytics, FullStory and UXCam

  • When someone completes a survey on your site, the widget sends usertick_survey_response to Google Analytics, and “Usertick survey response” to FullStory and UXCam, if the tool is loaded on the page. Switch it on per site, on every plan. The event carries the survey ID, the response ID and the score, never answers or personal data.
  • Their key-based connections were removed, and nothing needs to be connected.
Google Analytics, FullStory and UXCam.

Microsoft Teams

  • Microsoft Teams connects with Sign in with Microsoft and the Usertick app in a team. Rules post responses to a channel as cards, and Assign to me, Set status and Set type act as the person who pressed them. Threshold alerts, scheduled reports and your own notifications can go to Teams too.
Microsoft Teams guide.

HubSpot

  • HubSpot connects with one click and syncs each response to the respondent’s contact: Usertick properties with the latest scores and AI readings, mapped answers, a note, the company and a list per survey. Rules can also create follow-up tasks.
  • In HubSpot workflows, Send Usertick survey and Add contact to Usertick audience work on Professional and Enterprise plans.
HubSpot guide.

Google Sheets

  • A Google Sheets rule adds each response as a row, one tab per survey, in a new spreadsheet or one you choose in Google Drive. Usertick only sees the spreadsheets it creates and the ones you choose.
  • Rows stay up to date: the AI analysis, a correction or a status change rewrites the row. Add existing responses brings in up to 5,000 of the survey’s newest responses.
Google Sheets guide.

Zapier, in early access

The Usertick app for Zapier is in early access, by invite. It is not listed in Zapier’s app directory yet.
  • Triggers: New Response, Response Analyzed, Response Status Changed and Urgent Feedback, all instant. Watch one survey or every survey, and limit analyzed responses to some feedback types and urgency levels, and urgent ones to some types.
  • Actions: Add Comment to Response and Update Response, where Back to AI hands type and urgency back to the AI. Search: Find Response.
  • Version 3 maps more of each response: site, device, status, assignees, comment count, AI sentiment and whether a person corrected the AI. Its output fields match the REST API, so Zaps built on an earlier version need their fields mapped again.
  • Version 3.1 adds the Workflow Step trigger, which starts when a Usertick workflow reaches its Zapier step. Each step sends to one Zap, and the person who connected Usertick needs the Manage workflows permission. Send responses from a workflow.
  • You connect from inside Zapier and approve the app in Usertick. The connection then shows under Connections in Settings → Integrations → Zapier, with who connected it, when, when it was last used and its access, and Revoke access removes it.
  • The Connected apps tab under Settings → Developers was removed, because Zapier is the only app that connects this way. Its list moved into the Zapier panel, and the tab’s old link opens that panel.
Zapier guide.

Webhooks

  • Endpoints moved to Settings → Developers → Webhooks, each on its own page. Account notifications are optional.
  • Send events from all surveys sends one event, such as a new response or one after AI analysis, from every survey or the ones you pick.
  • It can also send when a response’s status changes, when someone corrects the AI, when a response becomes urgent, or when a theme spikes, and filter by theme. AI events.
  • In a survey’s Integrations step, the Webhook row is always there, and you can create an endpoint without leaving the editor. A rule now says when it runs: When a response is submitted or After AI analysis.
  • The delivery log shows each request and your endpoint’s answer, filters by source and survey, and can Send again. Payload sample shows the exact body for any survey.
  • Turning an endpoint off makes its rules skip without counting as failures. Deleting an endpoint that rules still use asks first and lists those surveys.
  • Webhooks that apps or the API add show in the same list, marked with who added them, and as Paused or Ended when they stopped.
Webhooks.

Locked responses

  • A response past its survey’s monthly limit is locked. Webhooks, Zapier, Jira, Linear and the other tools receive nothing for it, then or after an upgrade. Slack and Microsoft Teams get a short note without the answers. Integrations.
  • Replaced on October 17, 2026: responses are no longer locked. At the organization’s monthly limit, collection stops, or goes on as billed overage, and every response Usertick stores reaches your tools. Overage was replaced by extra responses on October 19, 2026.
OAuthOne-click

One-click connects

Connecting your tools no longer involves copying keys. Slack, Linear and Jira now connect with one click: you approve on the tool’s own screen in a popup, then select the destination from a list.
  • Slack: the workspace and channel are selected on Slack’s screen.
  • Linear: after approval, you choose the team new issues are created in.
  • Jira: you choose your site on Atlassian’s screen, then select the project.
  • API key and token forms remain available as a fallback on every one of them.
  • Every OAuth consent now runs in a popup: the settings page stays where it is, and the card changes to connected automatically.
CatalogRouting

The integration catalog

Native connectors were added for these tools: Linear, Jira, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, Google Analytics, Productboard, Amplitude, Mixpanel, FullStory, UXCam, Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce, LiveChat, Segment and BigQuery.

Per-survey routing

Routing is per survey and off by default: each survey opts into exactly the tools it should feed, in the editor’s Connect step. A support survey can post to Slack while a research survey files Linear issues, and neither touches the other’s tools.
